I was surprised that people recognized me as Anthy Himemiya considering that I wasn’t wearing her traditional outfit and I didn’t have a wig with her signature purple hair. Nearly everyone recognized her and it was awesome to see since Utena is an older classic. I also had the pleasure of meeting @Dessi_Desu, the extremely talented artist and cosplayer who created this version while I was wearing Anthy and it was definitely one of the highlights of the con for me! I fell in love with this version as soon as she posted it and knew I had to recreate it. I was drawn to the level of detail in the art and knew that it would allow me to challenge myself and grow in skill.
